Busuu has been included in the Global EdTech 50 – a list of the world’s most transformational growth companies in education technology (edtech).
As the edtech section continues to boom, we’re thrilled to be recognised alongside other industry-leading companies in our space.
The Global EdTech 50 was compiled by the venture capital fund GSV Ventures. It was announced during the 2020 ASU+GSV Summit, the world’s largest edtech conference.
When compiling the list, GSV Ventures included companies fast-growing companies delivering the largest impact on learners on a global scale. They looked at a number of factors, including educational impact, learner base, business scale and global reach.

Busuu is one of six European edtech companies and the only company from the UK. In addition to being at the forefront of the UK edtech industry, Busuu was recently listed in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 as one of the UK’s fastest-growing private tech companies.
