How does Mistake Repair work?

Your mistakes aren’t setbacks. They’re your pathway to real progress.

Mistake Repair reframes your ‘oops’ moments as opportunities to learn and improve, helping you master grammar one step at a time.

Here’s how it works:

1. You complete your lessons.
   
2. Busuu collects and reviews your mistakes, identifying the most important area to practise.
   
3. Mistake Repair explains your top error and generates customised exercises, helping you practise exactly what you got wrong, so you can focus on getting it right.

This means your learning isn’t generic. It’s shaped by you, your challenges, and your progress, allowing you to revisit, reflect, and repair in one place.

Where can I find Mistake Repair?

Mistake Repair is built into your learning timeline. If you make grammar mistakes in your lessons, exercises will be created so you can practise them again at the beginning of the next chapter. It’s easy to find, so you can repair mistakes whenever you’re ready to strengthen your skills.

Premium learners can enjoy unlimited access to Mistake Repair, and free learners can try it twice to see how it can help them improve their grammar skills (if you have access via the language pairings listed below).

Language & platform availability: Currently available on iOS to English learners with an English, Spanish or French display language (accessible via Settings in the Busuu platform), and Spanish learners with an English display language. We’re hoping to make Mistake Repair available in more language courses in the future.
