This week, we had a group of students visiting our offices from Absolute Internship. Absolute Internship matches talented university students and graduates with international work experiences in cities like Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Shanghai or Singapore. The program enables participants to meet like minded ambitious, driven and international-minded students as well as influential industry experts and successful business leaders in world-class cities.
That’s a great match with what we do at busuu so we were pleased to do a tour and talk with a group of students at our London offices. As people are from all over the world and work in different work environments, they were especially interested in what it is like to work in a tech startup and in London. We also covered topics like general advice on career planning, what criteria we use when recruiting people and what working together across teams is like.
It has been a pleasure to have the guys over here and best of luck with the Absolute Internship program!
