Our speech recognition exercises will help you to practice your pronunciation by copying a native speaker and getting immediate feedback. This feature is available in our English, Spanish, French and German courses. busuu’s education team will create more voice recognition exercises in upper levels and across other languages soon.
You will be able to test your pronunciation of key words and phrases via the apps – first, listen to a word or phrase, then copy it by speaking directly into your device’s inbuilt microphone. To be sure you get the most from this great new feature, make sure you practice in a quiet area.
Our custom speech recognition technology will tell you if the words and phrases you’ve been practising are pronounced correctly. This feedback will help you to find the areas where you could improve your pronunciation.
