Watch Out: busuu is Coming to a Screen Near You!

Roll out the red carpet, grab the popcorn – because we’re going live on TV! Throughout September, catch our ads on Turkish television and let us know if you spot our spots by tagging us on Twitter  @busuu or on Facebook @busuucom

Our two ads were inspired by two of the most common struggles people have when it comes to learning a language. The things we hear the most are ‘I don’t have enough time’ and ‘I’m scared to speak’. So, we wanted to show in our ads how busuu can help overcome both these problems. Remember, we’re here to help!

Spot 1: Time

One of the most common reasons we avoid… well, most things really, is because we think we don’t have enough time.

We’re running here, there and everywhere.

But research shows you only need to use busuu for 10 minutes a day to see steady progress with your language learning.

That’s no time at all. In fact, watch our ad below and check out all the things you can put aside in order to learn a language instead. Warning: Does include some pretty bad dancing.

Spot 2: Fear of speaking

Another reason we might avoid learning a language is (paradoxically) the fact we have to speak it.

It can be daunting trying new words and pronunciations out for the first time.

This is why we made our Conversations feature, where you can record and upload your practice words. Then our helpful community of 70 million native speakers correct and encourage you.

In this ad, we meet HoxtonGary, RoyalDoris and SandaDJ as they help our busuu novice practice his killer skills.
